Gogeta Bike
What is Gogeta Bike?
Gogeta Bike is a cycle to work scheme. Cycle to work was introduced by the UK Government to get more people cycling. It lets employees pay for bikes and cycling accessories out of their gross salary, before tax and national insurance contributions, saving them money.
And because they pay for the cost of their bike by salary sacrificing the cost out of their monthly salary, it also lets them spread the cost over a year.
What makes Gogeta Bike different?
Gogeta is the only cycle to work scheme endorsed by the Association of Cycle Traders thanks to our fair and transparent pricing. We offer the fairest deal for bike retailers, which in turn delivers the biggest savings to customers.
We are also the only cycle to work scheme that has a Flexi-Voucher, which lets people spend their voucher at different times, at different retailers.
How much can people save?
Gogeta Bike is the most generous cycle to work scheme for employees because retailers never pass on any surcharges for accepting a Gogeta Bike voucher (like they are forced to do with other schemes due to their high commissions).
To see personalised savings, based on salary and bike cost, please check out our savings calculator.
Is there a cost to the employer?
No, there are no costs to the employer to sign up or offer Gogeta Bike to staff.
To run the scheme, we charge a platform fee, which is 6% of every voucher processed. Depending on your plan this is either paid by the employer or the employee. But it will never cost the business anything. Here's why.
Self-Serve Plan (small businesses): Employer pays the 6% fee by default, but this is fully covered by the 15% National Insurance savings you receive. This maximizes employee savings, whilst the employer still saves 9% NIC.
Managed Plan (larger businesses): Employee pays the 6% fee by default. Because this fee is added to their salary sacrifice amount, they save tax on it too, so their actual net cost is only 3.2-4.3% of the voucher amount (depending on their tax band). Employer saves the full 15% NIC.
Employer saves the full 15% NIC. You can adjust who pays the fee at any time on either plan, or even split it between employer and employee.
The Gogeta advantage: We're transparent about our small platform fee. Other schemes appear "free" but retailers need to pass on 10-15% surcharges to the customer to cover the hefty commissions those schemes charge them. Because we offer the fairest deal for retailers, they in turn promise not to pass on any surcharges to our customers, making Gogeta the most generous scheme overall.
The Gogeta advantage: Unlike legacy schemes that charge employees up to 15% in retailer surcharges, Gogeta vouchers include no retailer fees, making it the most generous cycle-to-work scheme available.
What retailers can people use?
You can use Gogeta Bike at any participating retailer (check our retailer list here). If your preferred retailer isn't signed up, they can register online here in a couple of minutes. We are the only cycle to work
scheme endorsed by the Association of Cycle Traders, due to our low commissions and fair and transparent pricing, and we are always growing our retail base.
What is the Gogeta Flexi-Voucher?
Unlike other cycle to work schemes, Gogeta Bike's voucher is completely flexible, so the balance can be spent over different transactions with different retailers. This is a true innovation and gives
people unprecedented flexibility over when and where they spend their tax-free money.

Gogeta Nursery
What is Gogeta Nursery?
Gogeta Nursery enables employers to form partnerships with nurseries, in order to offer employees access to childcare that benefits from the tax exemption at s.318 ITEPA [2003]. This means that employees can pay for nursery bills out of their gross pay, making significant savings.
How much can employees save?
Employees can save up to 40% on the cost of their nursery care, depending on their tax band. With the UK having some of the highest childcare costs in the world, this represents significant financial help with the cost of living for working parents. It’s no surprise then that the employers we work with report that Gogeta Nursery is their most
important benefit. Additionally, employees earning over £100k per annum, who receive no other Government support with childcare, can use Gogeta Nursery, making it an incredibly valuable recruitment and retention tool for higher earners.
What are the employer/nursery partnerships?
Employers can offer employees access to tax-exempt childcare by partnering with commercial nurseries, as long as the partnership conditions set out at s.318 ITEPA (2003) are met.
Gogeta Nursery provides the platform and the protocols to enable employers to partner with nurseries to meet those conditions.
What nurseries can employees use?
Employees can choose from the hundreds of nurseries already part of our network or we can get their chosen nursery registered when they apply.
How does this integrate with other Government childcare support?
Employees wishing to use Gogeta Nursery can still take advantage of any ‘free’ funded hours they are entitled to, they would simply salary sacrifice the remainder of their nursery costs after the funded hours have been applied. Employees would not be able to use Tax Free Childcare to pay for a child’s nursery fees and use Gogeta Nursery at the same time, as the fees are paid out of their gross salary.
Due to the potential savings with Gogeta Nursery being uncapped (unlike Tax Free Childcare), employees can usually save more with Gogeta. They would however be able to use Tax Free Childcare to pay for after-school care for an older child (for example).
